The Blue Bell

The Blue Bell is situated on the riverbank on the Eaglescliffe side of Yarm bridge and so is not technically in Yarm, however it is the starting point for many peoples evening out in Yarm.

The pub underwent a major refurbishment in 1998 which scared a few of the regulars off up to the Cleveland Bay on Yarm bank. The pub is large with Pool, Darts & Big Screen TV. It also does cheap (non-gourmet) bar meals all day. The most expensive meal is 'surf & turf' at £5.95. The Blue Bell also has a large selection of draught beers and lagers.

The best thing about The Bell has to be the awesome beer garden which is lawned all the way down to the banks of the river, and also the 2 tier decked balcony at the rear. There are patio heaters and outside seating for approx 90 people. You can even get parked outside!! Drawback, sometimes a long wait at the bar Friday/Saturday nights when its busy. Bonus, you can pay for your booze by switch & Get cash back too. If you leave your car in the car park overnight you may come back to a £60 parking ticket, be warned!
