Yarm A.L. have over 5 miles of prime fishing on the River Tees around the historic town of Yarm, much of which is available to fish on a day ticket, purchased prior to fishing, from the Head Quarters (open 7.00 p.m to 11.00 p.m. daily). Day tickets are only available for guests sponsored and accompanied by members. We also have 1 mile of water on the middle Tees at Bowl Hole (Low Middleton).

Members of Yarm Angling Limited must also be members of the Association of Teesside and District Angling Clubs (ATDAC), giving access to a further 8 miles of middle Tees water and a couple of stillwaters.

Many anglers are attracted to the waters of Yarm A.L. by the increased stock of bream (to 8lbs) which has developed from a stocking some years ago. Favourable water conditions (the ideal is with the colour just starting to drop-out of the water) have resulted in match catches now reaching into 40lb+.

Roach, perch (several over 3lbs are taken each season), chub, dace, eels and pike(to 20lbs) are also common throughout.

We also have the 5-acre Halnaby Lake containing bream, carp, roach and perch and Turlwick Pond containing tench (to 7lbs), bream, roach and perch.
